Hello and welcome to my new site! My name’s Nicole and I started this website to document my explorations – both locally in the United States as well as my international trips.
“Wandering around and writing about.” For as long as I can remember, I have loved exploring new places (even just the woods in my backyard when I was a kid), and I have also loved writing: thus my inspiration for The Wander Logs.
Originally I’m from New Hampshire and Massachusetts, USA. More recently I lived for 3 years in the state of Colorado, where I fed my need for adventure through snowboarding, hiking, camping, backpacking and road tripping all over the west.
Currently I’m living in New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa for the next year with my partner, Niko. Most of my initial posts and inspiration for this blog will be about my experiences living here, but I plan to eventually branch out to include some of my other travel experiences from previous years, and of course, in the future.
